The client’s oil and gas operations were experiencing power quality issues and capacity limitations from the utility’s distribution system. Priority provided the solution, which included a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (“EPC”) management services to develop a high voltage substation interconnected with the utility’s 138kV transmission system, and transfer the distribution primary meters onto the substation. The substation included one (1) 15/20/25//28 MVA 138:24.9kV power transformer, two (2) distribution breakers and an empty bay for a second transformer to be installed in the future. The project was completed on time and under budget.
